The Anderson Green Project originated from Scott Anderson and Ted Green who are our ‘lived experience’ team members as employees and volunteers.

They are on an inspirational road to recovery and been through: ‘Structured Recovery Project 6’, ‘Kick Back Recovery’, ‘Connections’ ‘Outreach’ and ‘St Matthew’s Parish Nurse Project’.

Together we have worked on a new ‘Wellbeing’ vison for The Art House to provide a safe space for people in recovery with hot food and drink alongside Art Workshops. This will enable participants to build new skills and confidence as they work towards a positive future within our community.

Delivered for 3 hours one evening a week the participants will also have access to The Parish Nurse as well as external services to give physical, mental and spiritual support.

We have gained a ‘Positive Activities Funding’ grant from South Yorkshire Housing Association to kick-start this project and wish it to become the core of what we do.
