We will explore how we can turn photography into a mindful practice and how we can bring the practice of mindfulness into our photography. The workshop will involve a number of very simple mindfulness exercises designed to sharpen our eye and still the mind. We will then go out on to the streets with our cameras and explore what the city has to offer at this very evocative time of year. We will have a chance to look at each other’s images later. This is suitable for anybody regardless of previous experience of photography or mindfulness practice. Camera phones are fine. Participants will have the opportunity to join in various other mindful photography activities later on when circumstances allow.
