Procreate is a fantastic app with many powerful features and can be confusing at first so this course is designed to give you a set of skills on which you can then build and use the more advanced features over time as you develop your personal artworks.

In this beginner’s course we will explore how to set up a “canvas”; what size images are required for use on the internet and for printing, how to organise artworks and export them to other media such as jpegs. We will delve into using layers, cut, copy and paste, how to navigate menus and use different brushes and the options for picking colours. We will also learn how to import and incorporate images from elsewhere. Each participant will make at least one image using these and other techniques which will be fully explained and demonstrated in the workshop.
